A Reminder to All Coaches, Parents, and Players

The Purpose of the Manchester Elementary Soccer League

Please remember this is the Manchester Elementary School “Recreation” Soccer League. While competition, standings, wins and losses, and playoffs are all part of the experience, they are not the most important thing.

The focus should always remain on making sure all kids play, have fun, continue learning the game, and enjoy being part of a team environment. We will eventually crown a city champion, but the memories, friendships, sportsmanship, and positive experience for the players matter most.

If your primary focus is simply on winning at all costs, then this is probably not the right league or the right mindset. This league was created to provide a positive recreational experience for elementary school children throughout Manchester.
